These selects are from a body of work which explores the metaphorical “wave” of grief and its profound impact on perception. It was started in 2018 following the death of my mother. This series investigates how grief can distort reality, overlaying past memories onto present moments, much like a tide that envelops and eventually recedes, restoring clarity. By employing surreal imagery, I aim to visualize this altered state of consciousness, capturing wavelengths beyond the visible spectrum to symbolize the unseen and often overwhelming nature of sorrow.
