2023

“Especially Significant” started in spring 2023 amid California’s superbloom. The project marks a personal threshold around a milestone birthday and uses the landscape’s brief surge of color to test how attention resets. It is a celebration of California’s light, geology, and plant life, and a record of beauty encountered without sentimentality.
